About
ASTRON is a hybrid live trance band from Japan, active since 2001.
The five-member group consists of Bamboo (DJ / Trackmaker),
Shin (Drums), Eisuke (Guitar), Yuckey (Didgeridoo),
and Nambi (Percussion).
We combine solid programmed kick & bass with live drums,
percussion, blues-rooted emotional guitar,
and authentic Australian didgeridoo.
Our sound travels from ambient and downbeat to house, techno,
and full-on psychedelic trance, delivered as a 100% live experience for clubs and outdoor festivals.
ASTRON has performed over 350 live shows at indoor and outdoor
festivals/events/parties across Japan, sharing stages and connections with
both domestic and international artists.
Blending organic instruments and electronic production into a
fully original style, our music is refined and uplifting,
yet warm and deeply dance-driven — a fusion beyond jam bands,
and beyond mechanical electronic acts.
